Manhattan Beach/Hermosa Beach Residents Incoming Students

Welcome to the MCHS family! We are thrilled to be your partners as your child embarks upon what will be a rich and exciting educational and developmental experience at Mira Costa High School.  We want to help make the first steps in this process as easy as possible, so we are providing the following step-by-step information regarding how to get started. 

All 9th-grade students are required to bring in the following documents by 3/12/21: Online Enrollment Form, copy of birth certificate and 9^th Gr. Course Planning Sheet (found in the attached files located at the bottom of this page. HV students do not have to fill out the Enrollment Checklist.

Aeries Online Enrollment Form 

https://mbusd.asp.aeries.net/air/. Please be prepared to complete information regarding but not limited to, emergency contacts, allergies, etc. It is important that the information submitted be accurate and complete, as this data will be uploaded into our student information system and will become part of your child’s permanent record. Print and sign a copy of your completed online enrollment form.

Once you have completed the online enrollment form, please bring your copy of the online enrollment form, birth certificate and the 9^th Grade Course Planning Worksheet to the Mira Costa High School administration office dropbox (located outside the front office entrance) by 3/12/21.

Please watch the videos located below titled, “Student Course Selection Video.” Then your student will need to login to their  Aeries student portal and complete their course selection process. Please note that you cannot be in the parent portal, you must be in the student portal.

In July, Hermosa Valley parents will receive an email regarding “Data Confirmation.” You will need to complete this process at that time. To view detailed information on Registration please watch the video below titled, “Student Registration Video.”

Incoming 9^th grade students do not require a class scheduling appointment with their counselor.

New student class scheduling for 10th-12th grade students residing in Manhattan Beach or Hermosa Beach is done BY APPOINTMENT 5/20-5/21/20, then will resume in August 2020. Please call your respective administrative assistant mentioned below by last name to schedule an appointment.
